Loading...Modern boys tend to like high-tech and business styles. They often want to become successful entrepreneurs, politicians or public figures. Therefore, private designers Ruslan and Maria Green designed a room for a 10-year-old boy in a popular American style.
Special design features of boy’s room
Room interior design for a 10-year-old boy. Apartment in “Skolkovo Park”
This room is significantly different from other rooms in the apartment. In its interior design you can see:
- a brick wall and a fantastic picture of New York;
- leather, natural wood and brown colors, which represent the atmosphere of a modern business world;
- no traditional chandeliers (they are replaced with built-in LED lights);
- a large plasma TV and luxurious mirror surfaces;
- sliding glass partition and a floor-to-ceiling panoramic window.
The owner liked his child’s room design as well as the boy himself.

While working on this project the designers from Ruslan and Maria Green’s Studio used many modern ideas of an apartment interior design. They did not simply choose furniture, textiles and finishing materials, but also expanded the useful space by re-planning the room. First of all, they made the loggia to be a part of the room and then separated it by a sliding glass partition. This solution keeps the room light and helps to organize functional zones.

In this child’s room photo you will see a cozy sleeping area with a leather headboard bed, bedside tables with lamps, a spacious wardrobe and a plasma TV.
Behind a glass partition there is a so-called “office” area where the boy can study. In our design project this area includes a leather sofa for relaxing, a desk and a comfortable office chair. Built-in lamps fill the room with bright light in the evening.
