Everyone knows that it’s possible to expand the usable area of the apartment by attaching a balcony or a loggia. However, you need o remember that such an apartment re-planning requires a project as well as approvals from authorities. All this is quite troublesome, but private designers Ruslan and Maria Green guarantee that with the right approach, all the efforts and the costs will quickly pay off, and the result will exceed all expectations.
Nuances of planning solutions
Originally there were two balconies in the apartment where Ruslan and Maria Green’s design studiodid re-planning. However, they were not quite popular among the owners.
In this design project it was decided to attach the balconies to the rooms and to demolish the wall. It greatly increased the space of the apartment.
There used to be a dressing table and a computer on the bedroom balcony. However, it wasn’t comfortable to use them due to lack of light and room. After demolishing the wall the designers managed to organize a comfortable office and a real boudoir there.
Dining room where the balcony used to be
This planning solution was very successful. It allowed the organization of a full dining area with a comfortable soft sofa.
Before re-planning, the dining table almost completely blocked the way from the kitchen to the living room . After attaching the balcony this problem was solved as well as the problem of little space for cooking.
