As private designers Ruslan and Maria Green think, one large living room which also combines a kitchen and a dining room is much more comfortable than three separate rooms.
Modern zoning ideas of a kitchen-living room
Thanks to re-planning, the designers could get a more spacious room. This kitchen-living room kitchen-living room:
- a kitchen;
- a living room.
These two areas are separated by the dining area.
Kitchen-living room ideas
The entire interior design is implemented in beige shades with some chocolate and turquoise accents. Here you can see strict classical lines and polished stone, complemented by small baroque elements such as:
- pompous carvings and stucco elements;
- gold-plated furniture and decor;
- floral designs;
- soft light;
- contrast and saturation of colors.
On the perimeter of the room you can see kitchen furniture with a kitchen island in the middle. You can use it as a cutting table and a bar counter.
It was very important to provide good lighting for this room. There is a chandelier over the island and built-in lights on the perimeter of the kitchen. This living room area is designed in the beige monochrome with turquoise accents.
Here you can see:
- a sofa;
- a carved wooden table with a glass top;
- bookcases, cabinets and a TV.
The living room is complemented by a mirror in a fancy-looking frame, a marble fireplace and a chandelier, similar to the one in the kitchen area. The living room as well as the kitchen is decorated with beige drapes which cover window openings and walls.
The dining room interior has rich turquoise accents. You can see them in the draperies and chair décor. A chandelier has a completely different design, compared with the lamps of the living room and the kitchen. Therefore, this area has successfully fulfilled the role of a separator between the opposite ends of the room and matches the overall house design.
