Every time you want to disconnect from reality and go to a fictional universe, you don’t need to watch “Alice in Wonderland” or “Snow White.” You just need to design a lounge area with carefully selected decorations and a color palette in order to have your own fairy tale place. That’s what famous interior designers Ruslan and Maria Green did while working on this project.
Emerald and amethyst shades in the attic design with a gable roof

Looking through photo galleries of interiors, you have probably noticed that an attic is usually very independent from the overall concept of the house. An attic room is perfect if you want to create a place for rest. Being far from residential rooms of the house, it can be designed to transfer you to a completely different reality. An attic with a gable roof itself suggests games with light, colors and space. In this design project there is a home theatre with a sofa group, a dance floor and a gym.

Since Ruslan and Maria Green wanted to create a unique extraordinary interior design, the color palette should not be common. A deep emerald color combined with a dark amethyst shade created an unusual palette, reminiscent of boxed candies in golden wrappers. The dark, almost black background gives the emerald and amethyst palette special expressiveness and depth.
Wall painting and furnishing of the attic rooms

A wall painting with a magical forest and deer draws special attention in this interior. Such colors you can usually see in fantasy movies. Upholstered furniture with rounded corners looks like it’s from a doll house. The interior is decorated with mirrors adorning the dance floor.
