Ship sails, a wedding dress, a snowy winter garden – these are the things the color white brings to your mind. It also makes the room look squeaky clean and larger than it is. It’s easy to combine it with other colors. That is why designers often choose white for bedroom interior compositions. White bedrooms are often minimalistic; they do not welcome the abundance of decorative elements. In this publication we want to offer you a selection of white bedroom interiors where many modern ideaswere embodied.
White bedroom design with bright accents

Even though white and shades of beigeoffer clear advantages such as visually enlarging the room, they are quite dangerous to use in a monochromatic interior.
If you don’t want to feel like a hospital room, it’s better it to dilute it with other colors. Often it can be brown and beige. However, designers sometimes add brighter accents such as red, emerald green, blue, or purple. That’s what the private architecture studio of Ruslan and Maria Green did as you can see in the bedroom interior photo above. Bright turquoise accents together with coffee and chocolate shades were added to a light background.
White bedroom design in a classical style
White can be an ideal background for a classical bedroom design. Light cream and milky colors are the best if you want to create a noble, restrained composition. White textiles and beige furniture can be safely used there. The most important part is to choose the right colors when diluting white. They could be chocolate and coffee tones and natural wood colors. All of these shades, being quite neutral, enrich the interior. Little gold accents will also look good in light interiors. However, gilt must be used sparingly. Otherwise, your classics рrisks becoming, at best, a pompous Baroque, and at worst – kitsch.
This classical bedroom design is built on a competent game of colors and accents. The private architecture studio of Ruslan and Maria Green picked light furniture for this interior. Chocolate textile plays an important role in the bed décor. A classical composition is emphasized by pilasters, a narrow canopy, ceiling paintings and stucco. Gold in this design project is used very sparingly. It only emphasizes the outlines of certain objects.
White bedroom design in a contemporary style
Another style where the color white is a real favorite is contemporary. In this case, you can safely use a light, almost not diluted, monochrome. However, it is better not to do such experiments on your own. Otherwise, the result may greatly disappoint you. It is not easy to work with white in the interior. Therefore, it’s better to hire professional designers such as Ruslan and Maria because they know all those little nuances. In the interior shown in the picture, a monochromic light bedroom looks very comfortable. Properly chosen lighting, consisting of golden lamps and lighting around the perimeter of the ceiling, creates a very warm atmosphere.
White bedroom interior for a young lady
Shades of white are usually associated with graceful swans and lilies. They are perfect for creating a sophisticated feminine interior. They are very light, elegant and charming. A white bedroom design for a young lady in the picture above is implemented in a harmonious neoclassical style. Light beige shades perfectly match this interior.
Classical bedroom design with a facetted mirror
If you want to create a classical white bedroom design please think about such decorative elements as a facetted mirror. With its help you will be able to solve many practical problems. It not only visually enlarges the space, but also helps to fill it with light especially in front of a window. As for the columns and pilasters, they organize the space quite well and make it belong to a classical style. It is important for a white monochromic bedroom, where additional diagonal contours are needed as a means of zoning and as accents.
Gold and silver shades in a white bedroom design
Modern white bedroom design ideas actively promote the use of gold accents. In one of their recent projects, private designers Ruslan and Maria Green have chosen to add some silver to gold. Additional backlit floral patterns above the headboard like snowflakes shine with silver shades. Stucco on the walls and ledges echoes the bedsidedécor.
Our experts have decided to use only silver accents in the white bedroom design in the picture above. This color palette is not less fascinating than snowy winter woods. In order for this composition not to seem cold, you can add some natural materials (for example, wooden parquet). In this case, it is also important to choose the right lighting.
White bedroom design with eco-style elements
You can make a white bedroom look cozy using eco-style elements which take us back to nature. With the help of green plants and ascetic-like mats you can easily make the space look comfortable and homey. Look at the wooden ceiling beams that seek to bring you closer to nature in this design project. Using beige and cream colors instead of white also helps the room to look warm and cozy.
White Art Nouveau bedroom
Art Nouveau doesn’t have any strict color requirements. It is characterized by smooth lines and no strict boundaries, so you can afford a variety of color combinations. For example, in the bedroom design shown in the picture above, a light color palette is prevalent and blends smoothly into the coffee shades. The composition is diluted with blue accents.
