Redesigning interiors of a network of pizzerias
What is pizza for us? On one hand, it’s a very democratic product, appropriate in any situation. But at the same time, pizza can be a gourmet dish. Especially if we’re talking about Papa John’s pizzerias, where famous Moscow designers Ruslan and Maria Green developed interior designs. Now you can have your favorite «Margherita», «Little Italy» and «Marinara» at any of the cozy wooden tables, accompanied by green and yellow chairs.
Our designers offered to split the area into several sections. The farthermost one is a raised podium, decorated with red bricks. It comes with steps for easy access. This zone is great for groups’ celebrations. Some areas have comfortable maroon couches, which are a perfect spot for nice long get-togethers with family and close friends. And for those, who come in for a quick bite during lunch, there is plenty of counter space.
The concept for Papa John’s pizzeria design is inspired by the styles from famous American movies, where you can often see cafes, restaurants and diners with very democratic and cozy settings. A lot of brick and wooden trimmings, as well as the combination of red and green – a direct reference to bohemian-style lofts. And the decorative red bikes in the windows, stained glass inserts that look like puzzles from multicolored glass pieces from a kaleidoscope, soup cans that remind us of the legendary pop-art by Andy Warhol – they all leave a memorable aftertaste, like from expensive collector’s wines.
