A 134 sq.m apartment on Kutuzovskiy Prospekt was an ideal place for Ruslan and Maria Green to implement a project in the Art Deco style. There are features common for this style in each room of the apartment such as floral motifs and geometric patterns, interplays of color contrasts and fancy decorations.
Art Deco in the Living Room Interior
The owners of the apartment wanted to implement their ideas of comfort and creativity in their spacious living room (60 square meters). Here, you can see true Art Deco in all its beauty: luxurious leather beige chairs in the dining area contrast with the polished surface of the black table. Bright crystal chandeliers perfectly complete the interior.
Neutral Colors in the Bedroom Interior
The owners of the apartment wanted a bedroom of 17 square meters to be relaxing and not overloaded with décor details. The designers decorated it in neutral colors using patterns and materials common for Art Deco. Light shining from natural polished parquet and a satin bedspread contrasts with a soft upholstered headboard and draped. Everything in the room helps one to calm down and prepare for sleep.
Comfort in the Study Room’s Interior
Talking about the interior of the 12-square meter study room, the owner wanted it to be refined and stimulating for work. The designers proposed completing it in a deep chocolate color: it promotes comfort, helps focus on the task at hand. Dividing the room in two zones played an important role here. Nothing distracts you from working in the work area, and in the area for recreation and negotiations, there is a soft leather sofa and a contrasting wooden white table.
Art Deco in a Girl’s Room
A young daughter wanted her room of 15 square meters to be bright and stylish. Art Deco was particularly relevant here. You can see it in the contrasts of colors and textures such as a glossy floor and soft folds of curtains. A picture on the wall as a symbol of youth became the highlight of the room.
Boy’s Room Interior
A teenage son wanted to see something daring in his 14 square-meter bedroom. The designers decided to use a contrast of black and white in cold gloss of the floor and soft relief of the walls. The image of one of the Angry birds suited a young man’s taste.
Art Deco in the Hallway Interior
The owners of the apartment wanted their hallway of 16 square meters to be very cozy and warm. This was achieved by using soft shades of beige with white doors, a closet and a marble floor. You can clearly see a touch of Art Deco : a creative stained glass ceiling lamp with a floral motif.
