What is the best interior design for a nursery? The best option is an elegant classic and soothing pastel colors, complemented by original décor elements.
Real tenderness in the nursery interior
Private designers Ruslan and Maria Green have chosen refined pastel colors and classical elements for this nursery interior. The decision was made to decorate the window with a transparent curtain of a milky color. As a result, there is a light, laconic and very soft interior design.
Safety was a priority when working on the project. That’s why only environmentally friendly and natural finishing materials we used here. As for the furniture, it is made of solid wood and painted with absolutely safe acrylic paints.
The highlight of the project is a volume ceiling décor, which imitates a round window. The ceiling inside the “window” is decorated with a picture of blue sky and clouds. Thanks to LED lighting, which visually lifts the ceiling in the middle of the structure, we get the feeling of being outside and looking up. The lamp is designed as a balloon in the center and “sky”, which strengthens this illusion even more.
Minimum of furniture – maximum comfort for the child
There is no bulky furniture in the room. Here you can see a chest of drawers, a small bench, a wardrobe and bedside table. Every piece of furniture perfectly blends in the nursery interior because it is painted in basic colors and has the same motifs. A small light sofa, a TV mounted on the wall, a narrow shelf and a mirror complement the ideal picture of the interior.
Painting in the nursery design
Customized painting is the main decoration of the room. It is a picture of a funny teddy bear resting in a hammock that the experts of design studio painted on the wall over the sofa there are similar smaller pictures on all elements of the furniture. In order for the space to look even more comfortable, a few cute accessories were added: cushions and an original designer night light which you can see in the picture.
